Chad Mihevc.
Chad Mihevc is the co-founder and Managing Member of Flores & Mihevc, LLC, where he has led the firm since 2008. He counsels clients across a wide range of transactional and real estate matters, with extensive experience in commercial real estate, corporate law, and estate planning.
Chad represents clients in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including real estate development, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing on behalf of landlords and tenants, and financing of retail centers, industrial facilities, office buildings, distribution centers, and mixed-use developments. Chad’s national real estate practice includes the successful completion of real estate transactions in all fifty states, including transactions exceeding $1 billion in asset value.
Chad also serves as outside general counsel to business clients, advising owners and managers on contract and transactional matters, mergers and acquisitions, corporate establishment and governance, and regulatory compliance. In addition, Chad works with individuals and families on estate planning matters including wills, trusts, and business succession matters, helping individuals and families to achieve security and peace of mind.
Prior to co-founding Flores & Mihevc in 2008, Chad was Senior Attorney at Walgreen Co., where he provided legal counsel supporting the company’s nationwide real estate expansion program, corporate contractual, transactional and regulatory matters.
Active in his community, Chad has served on local school boards and as a city alderman, and volunteers his legal expertise to local civic and nonprofit organizations. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Chad earned his J.D., M.B.A., and B.A. (Bronze Tablet; Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1996.
